So as most of you heard we had miss mariah in the ER twice this last weekend! She was diagnosed with Croup (Sp?) so pretty much her air way began to close shut and she reached a temp of 103! Poor baby! She is re-cooping and getting better slowly! So in this picture she had just woken up from one of her many naps while being sick and since she had such a fever she was sweating like CRAZY! Needless to say she had some pretty hair!
Zachary had it twice last year. Last March he had an ear infection and pnuemonia that turned into Croupe!! He was in the hospital over night with and IV and we were sent home with breathing treatments!! And the 2nd time, I caught it in time and they gave him an oral steroind and it cleared up. It was hard to listen to him try and sleep and cough at the same time!!
ReplyDeleteOh man, I'm glad to hear she's doing better. I tell ya what though - ya never hear of kids getting pnemonia and croupe here in Georgia! Maybe ya should think of moving...for your child's health of course! :) Her hair looks like she's trying to by cousin Ryleigh, kind of mohawk-ish. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, leave Ryleigh alone Aunt Nicole:) She doesn't have the mohawk quit so much anymore. However, I think Mariah has more hair than Ryleigh now. And Nicole, I don't think you are going to get anyone to move to GA. But I guess it doesn't hurt to keep coaxing.
ReplyDeleteWhen you guys are all forkin' out money for your kids to go to college, don't say I didn't try to get ya'll to move here - where college is FREE! And when ya'll are sick of the yucky cold weather (and you will be this winter, ya'll always complain about it)I don't want to hear it. If only you would admit how much better Georgia is than Idaho, Montana, Colorado and just move here already.... :)
