If I didn't already know my kid was different I sure do now! Her new obessesion is with the box of wipes I keep in the living room! She will purposly put her toys down (once she spots the wipes) to go over and get the wipes to play with! And how do you ask does she get there?? O she is master and "army crawling" BACKWARDS! She still is too stubbourn to go forwarf (not that I am objecting) She'd rather pull herself up on things! Yikes! :)
That is too funny. Give her a full box of klenex and let her go at it! Can she open the box yet? That's when you are in trouble. Zachary crawled into the bathroom and unloaded a WHOLE roll of tp then played in it!! Oh the things we deal with as mother's!
ReplyDeleteYou wonder why we even buy kids toys. I mean, come on, you used your toy vacuum cleaner as a doll even though you had tons of dolls. Her hair has grown fast!

ReplyDeleteGlad you've discovered, BEFORE you spend TONS of money on toys, that kids DON'T play with them. Everybody laughs that our kids have VERY little as far as toys are concerned, but they don't play with them and I'm too cheap to buy them - Ashlyn has a kitchen set a dress up box and a couple of dolls and Blake has 2 HUGE buckets of cars and that's it. And Ashlyn would much rather play with my REAL kitchen stuff rather than her toy set.
Watch out when she figures out how to OPEN the box of wipees, then it's not all fun and games and is WAY less cute - especially when you don't find out until AFTER they're all dried out. Not that I'd know from experience or anything! :)

ReplyDeleteAnd the army crawling thing is normal, backwards though...not so sure! Get a video of it to put on the blog, I bet it's hilarious.
She hasn't figured out how to open them yet! Give her time though! Her hair is growing I guess I don't so much realize it now that she actually has some I don't pay too much attention. I've tried to take video of her "army crawl" but every time I get camera out when she's doing it she stops and just grins at me like haha I stopped! I'll keep trying!
